President 2015

The Omnibus Society is pleased to announce that Sir Brian Souter, Chairman of Stagecoach Group, has agreed to be the society’s 2015 President. He will succeed Ben Colson, formerly of Norfolk Green, the 2014 President.

Harry Barker, Chairman of The Omnibus Society, said: ‘We are delighted that Sir Brian has agreed to take on this role. In its long history The Omnibus Society has been fortunate that many of the most senior people in the bus industry have agreed to accept the presidency, and over the past 30 years Sir Brian has built up an international transport business that is widely admired for its innovation, integrity and customer care’.

Sir Brian will present his Presidential Address in London on Tuesday 27 January 2015 at 50 Broadway, London SW1 in the offices of Bircham, Dyson, Bell at 18.00 hrs for an 18.30 start, and he will host the society’s Presidential Weekend in his hometown of Perth in September.
