URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING PHOTO SALES
Zenfolio content transferred into Transport Library
As you will have seen in the Omnibus Magazine, the management committee decided some time ago to consolidate all photograph sales into The Transport Library, and to close down the Zenfolio site.
There were several reasons for this decision, including the lower commission we receive from Zenfolio and that the website constantly changes its rules, always to our detriment!
We have been slowly transferring images across, but a sudden decision by Zenfolio to raise its subscription rates even further and to impose additional conditions on users – for example to pay only through Paypal - has now forced our hand.
We have now transferred the whole of the Zenfolio content into Transport Library, into a separate folder named ‘Zenfolio Site’.
The old Zenfolio site will now disappear. The important thing is that no images have been lost and everything which was available is still available.
The main problem is that the Zenfolio content has a different description format to our standard on Transport Library, and so temporarily these images will be held in this separate folder. Once we have converted everything to the correct format we will transfer everything into the main folders.
