Funeral arrangements for Ken Swallow and Andrew Tyldsley
The weeks just before Christmas brought two items of particularly sad news for Omnibus Society members.
On Sunday 14th December one of our Vice Presidents and stalwart of the North West and Yorkshire branch for many years, Ken Swallow, passed away aged 90. Ken’s funeral is to be held on Monday 12th January at All Saints Church, Childwall Abbey Road, Liverpool at 1200.
Three days later on Wednesday 17th December our Membership Director and Vice Chairman of the Northern Branch, Andrew Tyldsley, died aged 69 at a Hospice near Hexham in Northumberland. Andrew’s funeral is also on Monday 12th January and will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Pelton, Co Durham at 1230 and afterwards at Lumley Castle, Chester le Street.
If you’re intending to attend either occasion would you be kind enough to let me know so I can advise the families regarding numbers.
