Scottish Branch Tyneside Tour

Stuarts of Carluke will provide the vehicle for this tour, which will depart from Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow on the north side of Buchanan Bus Station at 09:00, with a pick-up at Sheriffhall Park & Ride at 10:00 or shortly thereafter.   

Visits planned are to Travelsure at Seahouses, Stagecoach’s Walkergate premises in Newcastle, Go-Ahead North East’s Gateshead Depot and perhaps Howard Snaith   at Otterburn. There will also be stops at the MetroCentre in Gateshead and at Galashiels.

Return to Sheriffhall should be by 20:00 and to Glasgow at around 21:00 and the fare will not exceed £25.00.

Participants on this tour should be aware that permission to visit the Stagecoach Walkergate Depot   has been granted on condition that each visitor complete and sign an Indemnity Form agreeing:

    1.   That Stagecoach is not responsible for any personal or fatal injuries unless caused by the negligence of Stagecoach, its servant(s) or agent(s).

    2.   To indemnify Stagecoach against any liability for loss or damage to any property which but  for the exercise of this permission, would not have arisen.

 While I appreciate that this is an unusual requirement, it has been stipulated by the  local  Operations Director and any attendee under 16 years of age must have the form signed by their accompanying adult. Copies of the relevant form will be available on the day of the tour for completion aboard our vehicle before arrival at Newcastle.
