Scottish Branch Annual General Meeting – Members Only

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Scottish Branch will be held in the Main Hall of the Edinburgh Quaker Meeting House, 7 Victoria Terrace, Edinburgh EH1 2JL on Saturday 2^nd December, 2017 at 11:00. Tea and coffee with biscuits will be served and attendees will be asked to make a small contribution towards the cost.

 Nominations for the posts of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Distribution Officer and membership of the Committee should be sent to me with the approval of the nominee and a seconder. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor of the meeting. A ballot will be held to determine the programme for 2018 and proposals for inclusion should reach me not later than Saturday, 25^th November, 2017. Suggestions for tours, vehicles to be used and meetings will also be accepted from the floor of the meeting.

 Afternoon Meeting

 We welcome this year’s Honorary President of the Omnibus Society, Mr James Freeman, Managing Director of First West of England, to the Main Hall of the Edinburgh Quaker Meeting House, 7 Victoria Terrace, Edinburgh EH1 2JL at 15:00. His talk will be entitled “Who I am and What I Do” and given James’ illustrious career in the Bus Industry, this should be a most interesting and informative meeting and we are hoping for a large attendance. Tea and coffee with biscuits will be served and attendees will be asked to make a small contribution towards the cost.

 

The venue for this meeting is Disability Discrimination Act compliant.
