Morning Meeting

In a departure from our normal routine, our December “Evening” Meeting will be held at 10 a.m., in order to accommodate this year’s Honorary President of the Omnibus Society, Mr Leon Daniels, Managing Director, Surface Transport, Transport for London, who has kindly agreed to put time in his busy calendar to come to Glasgow and talk to us. The venue will be the Montmartre Suite A at the Holiday Inn Express Glasgow Theatreland, 165 West Nile St, Glasgow G1 2RL. This should be a most interesting and informative meeting and we are hoping for a large attendance. Tea and coffee with biscuits will be served and attendees will be asked to make a small contribution towards the cost.

The venue for this meeting is Disability Discrimination Act compliant.

 

Scottish Branch Annual General Meeting – Members Only

 Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Scottish Branch will be held in the Montmartre Suite A at the Holiday Inn Express Glasgow Theatreland, 165 West Nile St, Glasgow G1 2RL on Saturday 3^rd December, 2016 at 14.00.

 Nominations for the posts of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Distribution Officer and membership of the Committee should be sent to me with the approval of the nominee and a seconder. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor of the meeting. A ballot will be held to determine the programme for 2017 and proposals for inclusion should reach me not later than Saturday, 26^th November, 2016. Suggestions for tours, vehicles to be used and meetings will also be accepted from the floor of the meeting.
