Sholto Thomas will present : “Adventures at Britain’s Greatest Bus Depot”.
His experiences as a driver in the 1970s at the New Street, Edinburgh depot of Eastern Scottish which then had around 280 very mixed vehicles and Britain’s largest route mileage.
At Starbeck Methodist Church (Wharfedale Room), High St, Starbeck, Harrogate. Frequent Harrogate/Knaresborough buses stop outside. Starbeck rail station nearby. Some car parking available at the venue.
Please advise Geoff Cook of attendance by the previous Wednesday so that sufficient afternoon refreshments can be arranged.
