Mark Fowles, this year’s OS Chairman, and MD of Nottingham City Transport, will talk about:

Nottingham’s development as a conurbation over the centuries, and the role public transport in general has played in that development, with a significant element of the talk concentrating on the people (employees) who have helped make both the company and the city a success.

1400 at Friends’ Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester M2 5NS (Room F12).

The venue is in central Manchester near the St Peter's Square Metrolink stop. Members may wish to combine with the Manchester Museum of Transport Event at Boyle Street the same day.
