Alexander Dennis has for a long time been Britain's biggest bus builder. In this London-based Presidential Year it is particularly appropriate to have a speaker from Alexander Dennis, which has developed special products for London alongside its more mainstream vehicles. These include a special version of the Enviro400 designed with London in mind and a joint project with Chinese builder BYD to develop a battery-electric bus for London, of which the first examples are now in service.
