Mark Fowles

The first London meeting of the year is always the chance to meet our new President as he or she gives their presidential address. The 2018 President is Mark Fowles, Managing Director of Nottingham City Transport.

Mark has been MD of Nottingham City Transport since 2001. Since then he has seen the building and introduction of Nottingham's first tram route, has led the company to victory in the UK Bus Awards no fewer than four times and has brought in a great deal of innovation, including the world's first double-deckers powered by compressed natural gas. Nottingham is a thriving centre of public transport excellence, with the highest proporrtion of its citizens in the UK using bus services outside London.

With such a track record his Presidential Address is bound to be fascinating.

Mark Fowles' Presidential Weekend will be in Nottingha over the weekend of Friday 21st to Monday 24th September 2018.
