The December 2019 LHRG meeting will be feature a presentation by Dr James Fowler on the ‘Pirate Buses’ of the 1920s, their emergence and impact. Dr Fowler is a lecturer at the Essex Business School of the University of Essex. His wider research interests focus on the finance, governance and leadership of organisations in a historical context.
The meeting will be held at 18.00 for 18.30 on Thursday, 12 December 2019 in the District Room on the 7th floor at 55 Broadway.
This historic location sits above St James's Park Station and is close to bus routes 11, 24, 148 and 211 in Victoria Street.
The District Room is on the 7th Floor. Those wishing to attend should note that in the event of a fire alarm, the lifts will not be available and the emergency exit is via the stairs.
